The forests

Below 1000 m, the Scots pine, which forms the principal settlement on the slopes above the Borgne. On south-facing slopes and on the west, we encounter the larch and spruce.
Above 1900 m, the stone pine is an important place, especially between the Rimble and the Planards.
It should be recalled the important role played by the forest, in particular protection against the dangers of avalanches, rock falls and landslides
